Leal Soldado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Balcells in the 11th minute of the match. Geleberto Doblas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aire Odín in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Balcells in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leal Soldado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Mora. Torcuato Costa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Santa Margarita's Demesio Encina got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Santa Margarita's Máximo Mora got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Ulises Mayol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 42nd minute of the match Rodolfo Puyol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leal Soldado skillfully saved the ball. Santo Olmos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Leal Soldado came out of the goal and Emilio Balcells tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Balcells fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leal Soldado having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Balaguer reached it. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Geleberto Doblas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leal Soldado stood somewhat misplaced when Emilio Balcells came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 91 minute. Xabat Camara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Mayol struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Leal Soldado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. When the final whistle sounded Santa Margarita left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Balaguer.
