The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Auderico Verdu might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandro Leon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 11 played minutes, Vinalesa's Rai Cuadrado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cordeal Carrasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vinalesa reached it. Cristos Ponce De Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alexandro Leon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose-Enrique Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandro Planes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Jose-Enrique Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When RCD Penalonga-Forza depor's Cristos Ponce De Leon in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cristos Ponce De Leon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristos Ponce De Leon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinalesa's Alexandro Leon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandro Leon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristos Ponce De Leon in the 71st minute of play. Esdras Teresa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
