In the 3rd match minute, Sauceda CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincente Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Olayo Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauceda CF and the Riben players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Sauceda CF got a freekick which was hit by Olayo Fernandez. Riben's Adulfo Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Torres in the 16th minute of play. If Angelines Cuervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmai Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob De la Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quinto Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adulfo Saavedra having to interfere. Quinto Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordaro Erosa struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Adulfo Saavedra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauceda CF. Dalmai Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob De la Rosa in the 42nd minute of play. Riben's Adulfo Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Torres in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacob De la Rosa to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Cordaro Erosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute Jacob De la Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmai Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adulfo Saavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelines Cuervas, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Calisto Huarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Uxio Carro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelines Cuervas succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Angelines Cuervas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adulfo Saavedra was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Angelines Cuervas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angelines Cuervas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 94th minute, Quinto Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Zubiaga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmai Fernandez. Sauceda CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
