Drum&foot's Arcadio Rosas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Drum&foot from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drum&foot's goalkeeper Arcadio Rosas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Geofredo Laredo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drum&foot's protests and gave Geofredo Laredo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Drum&foot getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Geofredo Laredo hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Drum&foot got a freekick which was hit by Geofredo Laredo. With a little luck, Drum&foot's Arcadio Rosas got control of the ball when Bienvenido Nieto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafa Leseduarte charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Leseduarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bienvenido Nieto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Arcadio Rosas made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bienvenido Nieto in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arcadio Rosas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bienvenido Nieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristo Huguet came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Malaga Returns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Huguet couldn't finish the play. Bienvenido Nietos short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Arcadio Rosas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 48 minutes into the game, Bienvenido Nieto lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Arcadio Rosas. Arcadio Rosas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bienvenido Nieto in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Bienvenido Nieto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arcadio Rosas. Drum&foot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bienvenido Nieto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 71stth minute of the game Bienvenido Nieto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drum&foot's Arcadio Rosas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bienvenido Nieto in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arcadio Rosas saved Drum&foot from getting behind. A collision led to Drum&foot getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Niva Palomar hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Drum&foot's goal looked a bit too open when Bienvenido Nieto came free, but Arcadio Rosas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bienvenido Nieto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arcadio Rosas was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Gerard Pique took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arcadio Rosas. Arcadio Rosas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Arcadio Rosas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bienvenido Nieto in the 98th minute of play. Arcadio Rosas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bienvenido Nieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 101st minute, Serafín Lopez de Toro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malaga Returns had played much better football throughout.
