Urbasa Cainzos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazuste Espinosa in the 11th minute of play. García Vagrande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etxeberri Sarrate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Santa Cruz's Emenon Merino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that García Vagrande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulin Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. When El Atabal FC's Kemen Sainz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Cruz's goalie prevented a goal. Urbasa Cainzos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kemen Sainz's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Kemen Sainz made a precise shot to the right of Urbasa Cainzos. Santa Cruz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, Santa Cruz's Urbasa Cainzos got control of the ball when Kemen Sainz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ion Izquierdo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ion Izquierdo's late challenge caught a El Atabal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ion Izquierdo helped the player get up and apologised. Ion Izquierdo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kemen Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. García Vagrande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emenon Merino in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kemen Sainz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Kemen Sainz came free, but Urbasa Cainzos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Arcadio Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbasa Cainzos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. García Vagrande made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Emenon Merino sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, El Atabal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Etxeberri Sarrate came free, but García Vagrande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Kemen Sainz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Etxeberri Sarrate fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Cruz's protests and gave Etxeberri Sarrate a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxeberri Sarrate to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kemen Sainz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbasa Cainzos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Elixio Maldonado. After having played for 70 minutes, Kemen Sainz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Atabal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kemen Sainz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When El Atabal FC's Kemen Sainz in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Cruz's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute, Paulin Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes of play Santa Cruz's Ion Izquierdo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Urbasa Cainzos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazuste Espinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Santa Cruz defense, Kemen Sainz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbasa Cainzos. The Santa Cruz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbasa Cainzos should have stopped the shot. Emenon Merino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kemen Sainz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play, El Atabal FC's Kemen Sainz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbasa Cainzos was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that El Atabal FC were the better team. El Atabal FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
