Manolo Menendez struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Polo Cortes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrio SeSaMo. A collision led to UD Almería getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Telmo Campoamor hit a great ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Almería's goalkeeper Polo Cortes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferrando Rua kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Jordi Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolo Menendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Menendez in the 20th minute of play forced UD Almería's goalkeeper Polo Cortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yago Dobale during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yago Dobale hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Baldovino Borrás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Arratia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Polo Cortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordi Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldovino Borrás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldovino Borrás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Arratia having to make a save. If Baldovino Borrás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Marco Briso fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Almería's protests and gave Marco Briso a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Briso was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marco Briso kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Barrio SeSaMo's corner Oier Gimenez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Polo Cortes quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, UD Almería's Dominic Murcia got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Oier Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Barrio SeSaMo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oier Gimenez couldn't finish the play. Manolo Menendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manolo Menendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolo Menendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polo Cortes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Xarles Arenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Arratia having to interfere. Goi Bravo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Polo Cortes came out and tried to block the shot, but Goi Bravo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 90th minute. The Barrio SeSaMo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
