A collision led to La Parrilla getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Macario Macías hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Arrosko Griful was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Parrilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Real Atl. Portuense the free kick. A collision led to La Parrilla getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Arrosko Griful hit a great ball. Juan Marcilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the La Parrilla defense, Juan Marcilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gallo Ribas. The La Parrilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gallo Ribas should have stopped the shot. Macario Macías charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macario Macías the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes La Parrilla got a freekick which was hit by Macario Macías. Gallo Ribas made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Juan Marcilla sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Marcilla got free with Gallo Ribas in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gallo Ribas was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Fabio Di Cola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabio Di Cola really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Juan Marcilla in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gallo Ribas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arrosko Griful got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Fabio Di Cola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Marcilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gallo Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Di Cola hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, La Parrilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Carro to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Club Real Atl. Portuense got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Szőcs. Fabio Di Cola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gallo Ribas having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Macario Macías made the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Baki Şanberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to La Parrilla getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Omar Vicente hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Fabio Di Cola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Real Atl. Portuense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Juan Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gallo Ribas having to interfere. After 60 played minutes La Parrilla got a freekick which was hit by Frances Paris. Gallo Ribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gallo Ribas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Di Cola went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Fabio Di Cola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Di Cola in the 75th minute of play forced La Parrilla's goalkeeper Gallo Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Di Cola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gallo Ribas having to interfere. Juan Marcilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Frances Paris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juan Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Juan Marcilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Real Atl. Portuense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Marcilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Di Cola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gallo Ribas having to make a save. Gallo Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Marcilla in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Club Real Atl. Portuense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
