In the 16th minute, Iván Ramos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zuberoa Jimenezs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Ascencio Abad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ascencio Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zuberoa Jimenez in the 19th minute. Ascencio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Ramos in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Marcos Zapatero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of AS Leones booed when C.D.UTRERA ATL. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximo Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norino Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Hedvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iván Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ascencio Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Ramos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ascencio Abad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zuberoa Jimenez succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Ascencio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuberoa Jimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, one of AS Leones:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Norino Aballe went to the wrong direction when Patrick Hedvall was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Patrick Hedvall made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 73rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Norino Aballe would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Norino Aballe was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Marcos Zapatero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcos Zapatero really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, AS Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Zapatero came free, but Norino Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
