Gallo Amorebieta might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reinaldo Arraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gallo Amorebieta ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 minutes of play, Gatomorto's Agustín Barroso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Arraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrite's Reinaldo Arraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Patrite from getting a goal against them. After 17 played minutes Patrite got a freekick which was hit by Nabar Saez. Reinaldo Arraz was a little too slow when Gallo Amorebieta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. The Gatomorto fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Gatomorto's Agustín Barroso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Gallo Amorebieta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gatomorto's Agustín Barroso managed to work through Patrite's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Agustín Barroso dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Nabar Saez kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Agustín Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gatomorto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Barroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gallo Amorebieta came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gatomorto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gallo Amorebieta couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Agustín Barroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Gallo Amorebieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gatomorto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gallo Amorebieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gatomorto getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Agustín Barroso hit a great ball. Diagur Belalcaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tebaldo Zubizarreta in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Patrite's Nabar Saez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Reinaldo Arraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gallo Amorebieta in the 59th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Patrite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Obis to maneuver through the defense. Osmundo Sarrate kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Diagur Belalcaraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tebaldo Zubizarreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gallo Amorebieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Arraz having to interfere. Reinaldo Arraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Barroso in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Patrite's zone, Gallo Amorebieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Arraz came out of the goal and Gallo Amorebieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Agustín Barroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Reinaldo Arraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gatomorto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
