After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Eulalio Peña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patrite's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Peña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmai Arenas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tebaldo Zubizarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmai Arenas having to interfere. Negron SAD's Dalmai Arenas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tebaldo Zubizarreta in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tebaldo Zubizarreta in the 21st minute of play forced Negron SAD's goalkeeper Dalmai Arenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tebaldo Zubizarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dalmai Arenas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureo Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eulalio Peña came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Patrite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Peña couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tebaldo Zubizarreta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dalmai Arenas. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Tebaldo Zubizarreta struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Dalmai Arenas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patrite. Dalmai Arenas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tebaldo Zubizarreta in the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Negron SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Tebaldo Zubizarreta came free, but Dalmai Arenas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Peña came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dalmai Arenas could save by the left post. Eulalio Peña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmai Arenas having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tebaldo Zubizarreta was the one to do the kick off. Dalmai Arenas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tebaldo Zubizarreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dalmai Arenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tebaldo Zubizarreta in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Typhon Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Negron SAD and the Patrite players grew even worse after the yellow card. Typhon Santos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Dalmai Arenas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tebaldo Zubizarreta's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Tebaldo Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Tebaldo Zubizarreta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmai Arenas came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Patrite's Nabar Saez. But to his dismay, Nabar Saez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Eulalio Peña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmai Arenas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tebaldo Zubizarreta in the 80th minute of the match. Eulalio Peña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmai Arenas having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Patrite fully deserved thier win.
