Fe Peña was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Lalla Talavera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lalla Talavera really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Barcelona FC were furious when Aya Balboa was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barcelona FC! In the 28th minute Lalla Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fe Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hassan Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaime Zapatero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.D. Esparragal's Fe Peña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Esparragal from getting a goal against them. Lucas Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fe Peña having to interfere. A collision led to Barcelona FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Inautzi Zapater hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, C.D. Esparragal's goalkeeper Fe Peña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lalla Talavera. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After some careless play in the C.D. Esparragal defense, Lalla Talavera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fe Peña. The C.D. Esparragal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fe Peña should have stopped the shot. In the 59thth minute of the game Lalla Talavera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D. Esparragal's Fe Peña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fe Peña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalla Talavera in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. Esparragal's zone, Jesús Sauca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fe Peña came out of the goal and Jesús Sauca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lalla Talavera in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fe Peña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.D. Esparragal's goalkeeper Fe Peña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, C.D. Esparragal's goal looked a bit too open when Lalla Talavera came free, but Fe Peña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hassan Aballe went to the wrong direction when Garibaldo Flores was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Goiz Dagora kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barcelona FC had played much better football throughout.
