The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Duesaigues UD getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Juanito Calderon hit a great ball. Reimundo Castillo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Nicolás Batuecas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahia Dorada FC. If Teo Lermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernán Espinosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Lermo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Duesaigues UD booed when Bahia Dorada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paquito Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Dario Ramis in the 19th minute really tested Hernán Espinosa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paquito Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dario Ramis, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hernán Espinosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolfo Marcos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nicolás Batuecas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Viqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Lermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahia Dorada FC's Hernán Espinosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Bahia Dorada FC from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes Duesaigues UD got a freekick which was hit by Dario Ramis. After 49 minutes Duesaigues UD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrique Suarez who took care of the corner kick. Bahia Dorada FC's Aznaro Reina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicolás Batuecas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

After a defensive mix-up in Bahia Dorada FC's zone, Dolfo Marcos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernán Espinosa came out of the goal and Dolfo Marcos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Bahia Dorada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dolfo Marcos came free, but Hernán Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duesaigues UD's goalkeeper Nicolás Batuecas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duesaigues UD's Teo Lermo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernán Espinosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Lermo went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dolfo Marcos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hernán Espinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Paquito Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Dolfo Marcos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernán Espinosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Viqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Batuecas having to interfere. Pablo Viqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nicolás Batuecas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Duesaigues UD got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Barberá. When Teo Lermo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Duesaigues UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Lermo couldn't finish the play. Dolfo Marcos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hernán Espinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duesaigues UD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bahia Dorada FC for a fine match.
