When Playa Blanca AD's Ekhi Herrera in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anko Arias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Alaves FC's Landolfo Vacas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anko Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anko Arias made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Hondo Astudillo sent off a good shot on target. Nabucodonosor Llinares's late challenge caught a Alaves FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nabucodonosor Llinares helped the player get up and apologised. 18 minutes into the game, one of Playa Blanca AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekhi Herrera in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Marrero saved Alaves FC from getting behind. In the 28th match minute, Alaves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Serra to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Marrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekhi Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hondo Astudillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anko Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Ekhi Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Marrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Landolfo Vacas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anko Arias having to interfere. Basilio Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Enrique Millán took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Marrero. Aristides Marrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekhi Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Landolfo Vacas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Blanca AD's Anko Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Pabon during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Landolfo Vacas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anko Arias having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Hondo Astudillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Playa Blanca AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leizarraga Barral to maneuver through the defense. Elazar Cainzos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Marrero. Alaves FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Hondo Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Enrique Millán made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Marrero. Alaves FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Landolfo Vacas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Playa Blanca AD's Ekhi Herrera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Marrero. That made the score 3-3 after 95 minutes of play. Alaves FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
