Peru Silva scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Ferran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban Incera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis-Alfredo Espinosa's late challenge caught a Northend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peru Silva in the 45th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Carlos Mangas made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Buzzards's Cebo Quintana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Carlos Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Carlos Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northend's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cebo Quintana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cebo Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Mangas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Mangas struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Cebo Quintana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northend. Peru Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Humberto Ferran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
