After 17 minutes, Edgard Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slurm F.C. and the C.E.Laieta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Txomin Garzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladio Garay having to interfere. If Txomin Garzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txomin Garzon scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ladio Garay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isauro Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Curro Duran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Novo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 0-3 became the score in the 41st minute when Maadan Martinez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santana Torrente made a kick off. Cordeal Molina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladio Garay having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Toni Novo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curro Duran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Slurm F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isauro Mendez to maneuver through the defense. If Xose Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladio Garay was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Maadan Martinez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maadan Martinez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ladio Garay made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Txomin Garzon sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Txomin Garzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladio Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Txomin Garzon put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ladio Garay. The supporters of C.E.Laieta booed when Slurm F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maadan Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geleberto Unzueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Curro Duran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, C.E.Laieta's Ladio Garay got control of the ball when Txomin Garzon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Slurm F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.E.Laieta throughout the match.
