Apoena Sirvent might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prometeo Saboya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apoena Sirvent ran back to his position shaking his head. When Locaio Baeza came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Campofrio CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Locaio Baeza couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Silverio Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geofredo Duran, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Rey was the one to do the kick off. Castellnou De Montsec SAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Locaio Baeza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Andrea Antunez struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Geofredo Duran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campofrio CF. There was no doubt that Campofrio CF were the better team. Campofrio CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
