Enzo Alabern's late challenge caught a granada cf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Alabern helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carabanchel getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Enzo Alabern hit a great ball. Hermelando Escurza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Koch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. granada cf's Johannes Koch got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Bacete kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Carabanchel's Xosepe Nunez in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 29 minutes, Salomon Graf made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carabanchel's Hermelando Escurza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Bras Zafrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Escurza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Gil Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Carabanchel booed when granada cf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanimir Pironkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carabanchel's Antonio Contratas got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Johannes Koch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half granada cf were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hermelando Escurza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Graf, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salomon Graf in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermelando Escurza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermelando Escurza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Graf, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marciano Izquierdo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of granada cf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marciano Izquierdo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 76th minute, one of granada cf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for granada cf. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Nunez in the 83rd minute of play forced granada cf's goalkeeper Quintan Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th play minute Johannes Koch came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hermelando Escurza. 0-3. When Stanimir Pironkov fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored granada cf's protests and gave Stanimir Pironkov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, one of granada cf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for granada cf. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Carabanchel. Blas Sobera stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Quintan Camara. 1-3. After 96 played minutes granada cf got a freekick which was hit by Pirro Domenech. Quintan Camara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Nunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. granada cf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
