Lonzo Avila came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayamonte FC's Zadornin Marines. But to his dismay, Zadornin Marines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Niva Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zadornin Marines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lonzo Avila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zadornin Marines in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Ayamonte FC's Zadornin Marines made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lonzo Avila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lonzo Avila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zadornin Marines in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Zadornin Marines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lonzo Avila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Niva Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lonzo Avila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niva Ferrer ran back to his position shaking his head. Moises Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Nando Amorebieta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half Ayamonte FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nando Amorebieta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lonzo Avila was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Niva Ferrer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niva Ferrer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Arta's zone, Michel Vicente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lonzo Avila came out of the goal and Michel Vicente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zadornin Marines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Avila having to interfere. When Zadornin Marines came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ayamonte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zadornin Marines couldn't finish the play. Lonzo Avila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zadornin Marines in the 66th minute. Niva Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Avila having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Delfino Figueroa sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Lonzo Avila threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Delfino Figueroa this time. Zadornin Marines was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Ayamonte FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 78 minutes into the match, Ayamonte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Zaplana came free, but Uhin Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constancio Martinez in the 81st minute of play forced Ayamonte FC's goalkeeper Uhin Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lonzo Avila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niva Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayamonte FC's Zadornin Marines got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Bahiano Morado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zadornin Marines got free with Lonzo Avila in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moises Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonzo Avila having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Vicente Zaplana made a precise shot to the right of Uhin Martinez. Ayamonte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Ayamonte FC played a much better game than Arta and deserved their victory. The Arta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
