An unexpectedly hard shot by Txomin Sobera in the 3rd minute of play forced Valleseco's goalkeeper Saverio Cañadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Valleseco's Perrando Rienda got a free kick in the 5th minute. Saverio Cañadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txomin Sobera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes Phoenix C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Txomin Sobera. With his leg Saverio Cañadas managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Phoenix C.F.'s Pío Geniatulin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saverio Cañadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pío Geniatulin in the 16th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Valleseco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute, Txomin Sobera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saverio Cañadas. The goal made the score 2-0. Txomin Sobera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Cañadas having to interfere. If Pío Geniatulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txomin Sobera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pío Geniatulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Cañadas having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Vermudo Vicente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phoenix C.F.'s Txomin Sobera got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Phoenix C.F.'s Txomin Sobera in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valleseco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pío Geniatulin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ion Duarte was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Ion Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Valleseco's goal looked a bit too open when Brion Roman came free, but Saverio Cañadas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Phoenix C.F.'s Txomin Sobera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saverio Cañadas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Pío Geniatulin came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Phoenix C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pío Geniatulin couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Txomin Sobera in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Cañadas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the game, Perrando Rienda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Alcadio Montero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ion Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phoenix C.F.'s Txomin Sobera got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Uzuri Cortes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Ledo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saverio Cañadas. Valleseco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uzuri Cortes during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uzuri Cortes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Pío Geniatulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Cañadas having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Pío Geniatulin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pío Geniatulin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phoenix C.F. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
