Evangelista Garate came out of the goal and Jaime Pastor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Pastor might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evangelista Garate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pastor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Aurelio Carrasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evangelista Garate was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Anxo Dobale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D.E.Metropolitano B.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elexalde FC the free kick. Anxo Dobale hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Jaime Pastor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evangelista Garate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pastor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Carrasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evangelista Garate having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pastor in the 39th minute of play forced C.D.E.Metropolitano B.'s goalkeeper Evangelista Garate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quilino Moya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Pastor in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evangelista Garate, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Aurelio Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evangelista Garate made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jaime Pastor sent off a good shot on target. C.D.E.Metropolitano B.'s Evangelista Garate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Carrasco in the 73rd minute of play. When Elexalde FC's Aurelio Carrasco in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Evangelista Garate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belasko Cienfuegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Elexalde FC's Aurelio Carrasco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Aurelio Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Jaime Pastor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
