Manoel Area showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Bran, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Romualdo Suarez hit a great ball. Morgade F.C.'s Ricardo Prats got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manoel Area made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macabeo Torrente in the 21st minute of play. Manoel Area showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Bran, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ricardo Prats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manoel Area. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Prats in the 41st minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Manoel Area to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Luis Ucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Area saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Ucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hustaz Gala made a kick off. Manoel Area showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Bran in the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Luar Valines. Geremia Gabas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hustaz Gala went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Manoel Area was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Edorta Sacristán capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edorta Sacristán really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Prats got free with Manoel Area in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Prats struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Manoel Area didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morgade F.C.. 74 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Bran came free, but Manoel Area reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Luis Ucero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morgade F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Ucero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Area breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Morgade F.C. made a substitution. Turo Flores replaced Luis Ucero. The crowd rose to their feet as Eraldo Bran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manoel Area. That made the score 1-7 in the 82 minute of play. After 92 played minutes Turo Flores rounded Nacional's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-8. Manoel Area showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turo Flores in the 97th minute of the match. Morgade F.C. played a much better game than Nacional and deserved their victory. The Nacional players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
