Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ion Viejo started the match with the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Gelacio Flores put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Castellazo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moncada:s goal. Peter Casanova placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Turi Bargas charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turi Bargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Moncada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turi Bargas to maneuver through the defense. If Llorienzo Acha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Francis Fuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Turi Bargas got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Turi Bargas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Josu Quintanilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Abelardo Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Llorienzo Acha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moncada's supporters rose to their feet, but Llorienzo Acha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolito Leon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodor Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Manolito Leon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th play minute Llorienzo Acha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manolito Leon. 2-0. Teodor Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Casanova kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Moncada booed when Castellazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roi Segura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Peter Casanova sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Castellazo's Manolito Leon didn't even have to move. Josu Quintanilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moncada! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Llorienzo Acha made a kick off. If Llorienzo Acha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tavio Carreira kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Llorienzo Acha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moncada's supporters rose to their feet, but Llorienzo Acha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolito Leon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moncada's Jago Morientes got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francis Fuster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Moncada getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Manolito Mora hit a great ball. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Castellazo. Kiko Losantos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Abelardo Ecija. 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, Llorienzo Acha notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Castellazo's Manolito Leon. Manolito Leon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute of the match, Tavio Carreira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abelardo Ecija was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Josu Quintanilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Abelardo Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llorienzo Acha took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manolito Leon. Manolito Leon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 93 minutes into the match, Moncada's Llorienzo Acha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manolito Leon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Moncada getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Manolito Mora hit a great ball. Josu Quintanilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Abelardo Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manolito Leon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Llorienzo Acha, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Moncada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
