The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Javier Planes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godineta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hospitalet CF the free kick. When Hospitalet CF's Angelines Morales in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Godineta FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dario Calderon came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Hospitalet CF's Fresco Alcaraz. But to his dismay, Fresco Alcaraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Monte Alarcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Calderon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelines Morales's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Angelines Morales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hospitalet CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Paulin Esteban made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when John Fuentes sent off a good shot on target. Godineta FC's John Fuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Godineta FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Climent. In the 35th minute of the game Eusebio Pedriza made a throw-in which Fresco Alcaraz played forward. In the 37th minute, Pablo Abellan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, John Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godineta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Fuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulin Esteban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Robustiano Climent made a precise shot to the right of Paulin Esteban. Hospitalet CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robustiano Climent made a kick off. Amado Griful hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Belisario Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulin Esteban skillfully saved the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Hospitalet CF's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Climent came free, but Paulin Esteban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Lucius kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Toni Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Paulin Esteban. Hospitalet CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. John Fuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulin Esteban having to interfere. A collision led to Hospitalet CF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eleuterio Fernandez hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, John Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godineta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Fuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulin Esteban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Godineta FC's goalkeeper Dario Calderon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, one of Godineta FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hospitalet CFs' Dario Calderon made a terrific save as he just managed to stop Angelines Moraless penalty just before it crossed the line at his left post. Eusebio Pedriza got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pablo Abellan. Pablo Villafane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Dario Calderon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
