In the 3rd minute Iban Naranjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvino Beloki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezker Saura in the 6th minute. Ezker Saura's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Alvino Beloki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to MBH FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Quilo Abril hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Luis-Jose Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18th play minutes Iban Naranjo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Alvino Beloki and just under the crossbar into goal. If Iban Naranjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rai Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anaia Castaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Iban Naranjo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espiell F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iban Naranjo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezker Saura succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 28th playminute. In the 34th minute, Luis-Jose Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes MBH FC's goalkeeper Alvino Beloki managed, with a little bit of luck, save Iban Naranjo's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 4-0 came in the 45th minute when Iban Naranjo all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Alvino Beloki. Quilo Abril hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Llanos Izaguirre made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Espiell F.C's Iban Naranjo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvino Beloki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezker Saura in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvino Beloki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Iban Naranjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezker Saura in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvino Beloki saved MBH FC from getting behind. Espiell F.C's Nicolás Santiago was substituted for Ekain Abascal. In the 70th minute Ezker Saura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Espiell F.C's Ezker Saura in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MBH FC's goalie prevented a goal. Iban Naranjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alvino Beloki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Ezker Saura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvino Beloki. MBH FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezker Saura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 94th minute Ezker Saura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Beloki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MBH FC's Alvino Beloki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iban Naranjo in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Espiell F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
