Globex FC's Oxel Darroja shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alvino Beloki but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Llanos Izaguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. MBH FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Llanos Izaguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurxo Quijana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute of the match Baldovino Arias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xurxo Quijana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Israel Cuevas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Alvino Beloki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Xurxo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llanos Izaguirre in the 11th minute of play. Llanos Izaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Xurxo Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Anaia Castaño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xurxo Quijana. Globex FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anaia Castaño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. MBH FC's Alvino Beloki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save MBH FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Mateo Abellan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, Globex FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toli Colsa to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Enol Gómez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xurxo Quijana skillfully saved the ball. Quilo Abril hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Koldo Fonticoba struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Alvino Beloki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Globex FC. Llanos Izaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Quijana having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Koldo Fonticoba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvino Beloki was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Israel Cuevas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvino Beloki having to interfere. With a little luck, Globex FC's Xurxo Quijana got control of the ball when Anaia Castaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvino Beloki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Cuevas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Israel Cuevas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MBH FC's Anaia Castaño got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quilo Abril during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. MBH FC were furious when Baldovino Arias was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Globex FC a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ranolfo Bacete, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MBH FC's Alvino Beloki. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Globex FC had won after a very even match.
