Juan-Pablo Montero started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Globex FC's Amador Baños got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Guter Cartagena's late challenge caught a Globex FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guter Cartagena helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Ribun FC got a freekick which was hit by Guter Cartagena. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Juan-Pablo Montero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan-Pablo Montero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurxo Quijana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan-Pablo Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Alberto Riba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Globex FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Riba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ritchie Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Cuevas in the 22nd minute of the match. Israel Cuevas's late challenge caught a Ribun FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Cuevas helped the player get up and apologised. Juan-Pablo Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Pablo Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Xurxo Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Cordarin Griful shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xurxo Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Sarrate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Xurxo Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurxo Quijana came out and tried to block the shot, but Guter Cartagena slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute. Ribun FC's Anxo Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koldo Fonticoba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan-Pablo Montero during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan-Pablo Montero hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Juan-Pablo Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Mateo Sarrate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xurxo Quijana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 66 minutes into the match, Globex FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guter Cartagena came free, but Xurxo Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan-Pablo Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juan-Pablo Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateo Sarrate might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xurxo Quijana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Sarrate ran back to his position shaking his head. Xurxo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Pablo Montero in the 80th minute of play. Xurxo Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Sarrate in the 81st minute of the match. If Mateo Sarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan-Pablo Montero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Quijana having to interfere. Guter Cartagena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Quijana having to interfere. Mateo Sarrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Baños kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Alberto Riba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ritchie Paris. The goal made the score 2-1. Ribun FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
