Juan-Pablo Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jusepe Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Ribun FC got a freekick which was hit by Guter Cartagena. Juan-Pablo Montero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 minutes of play, Ribun FC's Juan-Pablo Montero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jusepe Suarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mateo Sarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolomé Leon charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolomé Leon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, CD. Liendo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomé Leon to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Juan-Pablo Montero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jusepe Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bao Vazquez during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Bao Vazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Mateo Sarrate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jusepe Suarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jusepe Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Sarrate, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Juan-Pablo Montero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jusepe Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Guter Cartagena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guter Cartagena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mateo Sarrate came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ribun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Sarrate couldn't finish the play. Jusepe Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Pablo Montero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guter Cartagena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Pablo Montero to make the kick off. Barry Lucha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jusepe Suarez having to make a save. A collision led to CD. Guter Cartagena struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jusepe Suarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribun FC. If Mateo Sarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xose Herrera's late challenge caught a Ribun FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xose Herrera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD. Liendo's Xose Herrera got a free kick in the 77th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ribun FC's Mateo Sarrate tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in CD. Liendo's zone, Guter Cartagena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jusepe Suarez came out of the goal and Guter Cartagena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Sarrate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jusepe Suarez having to interfere. If Mateo Sarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute of the match Ribun FC got a corner. CD. Liendo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateo Sarrate ran over to the corner to take the kick. 91 minutes into the match, Ribun FC's Anxo Ruiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jusepe Suarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mateo Sarrate might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jusepe Suarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Sarrate ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, CD. Liendo's Xian Hidalgo got a free kick in the 95th minute. Mateo Sarrate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
