With his leg Indar Abajas managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Essex Madrid's Frederick Mendez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Elias Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depeche Mode C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Suarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toño Jareño in the 82nd minute of play forced Essex Madrid's goalkeeper Michel Canturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Frederick Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Frederick Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Essex Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederick Mendez couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Essex Madrid players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
