Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4700, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hori Lara started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.F. Moron RX8 's Reimundo Toledo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Baldemar Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Vazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hori Lara's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 12 minutes, Teobaldo Reyes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iturgoyen and the C.F. Moron RX8 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, one of Iturgoyen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Iturgoyen. Veto Lacorte's late challenge caught a Iturgoyen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veto Lacorte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.F. Moron RX8 's Veto Lacorte got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Hori Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldemar Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Vazquez having to interfere. After 31 played minutes C.F. Moron RX8 got a freekick which was hit by Typhon Maldonado. Hori Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match Goyo Canturri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Vazquez skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.F. Moron RX8 's zone, Hori Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Vazquez came out of the goal and Hori Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Baldemar Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hori Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bruno Mayor came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the C.F. Moron RX8 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Mayor couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Casero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Vazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldemar Velasco in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, Iturgoyen's Hori Lara made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Vazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, C.F. Moron RX8 's goal looked a bit too open when Baldemar Velasco came free, but Rafael Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iturgoyen's Hori Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, C.F. Moron RX8 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veto Lacorte to maneuver through the defense. Baldemar Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Vazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of C.F. Moron RX8 booed when Iturgoyen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gitano Abrego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hori Lara struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rafael Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iturgoyen. Bruno Mayor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio De Paula having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Iturgoyen fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.F. Moron RX8 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
