The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Los Almagros got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Solana. Luke Contreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gaston Villar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Gerardo Solana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asier Jauregui, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Laurgain Morcego in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaston Villar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Niva Ledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josue Cienfuegos went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Niva Ledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josue Cienfuegos in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Los Almagros got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Solana. Josue Cienfuegos struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Niva Ledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Susinho FC. Niva Ledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josue Cienfuegos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Marin Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niva Ledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Susinho FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Dean got free with Niva Ledo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ebardo Valerón during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Almagros booed when Susinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebardo Valerón didn't get a good kick on the ball.
