In the 18th minute José Maria Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duardo Saez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Los Marines UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Diaz couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Otero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Los Marines UD were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Uriel Zubizarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Daniel Otero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duardo Saez, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Alcañiz AD's Jakes Bodelon got a free kick in the 79th minute. Duardo Saez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Zubizarreta in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Los Marines UD's goal looked a bit too open when Silviano Pareja came free, but Barros Gala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When José Maria Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Los Marines UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Maria Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Gomesano Segura might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duardo Saez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gomesano Segura ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duardo Saez having to interfere.
