Malmö FF's Apoena Galego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Lõugas in the 40th minute of play. Donato Dellasierra hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Eutropio Santander's late challenge caught a La Rosa Mecánica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as La Rosa Mecánica's Arne Lõugas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Apoena Galego. That made the score 0-3 after 75 minutes of play. Apoena Galego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Börnert in the 81st minute of play. Apoena Galego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Lõugas in the 90th minute of the match. When the match was over La Rosa Mecánica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malmö FF throughout the match.
