The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jerrold Cao made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Olaf Dziedziak sent off a good shot on target. A.C. Norwich's Eloy Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agamenón Naranjo in the 7th minute of play. When Pudes Olmos fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C. Norwich's protests and gave Pudes Olmos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Pudes Olmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo De Pablo in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes A.C. Norwich got a freekick which was hit by Pudes Olmos. If Agamenón Naranjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Segundo De Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Eloy Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imperial TGN's Agamenón Naranjo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Imperial TGN's Jerrold Cao got control of the ball when Olaf Dziedziak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Agamenón Naranjo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperial TGN's supporters rose to their feet, but Agamenón Naranjo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerrold Cao made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Olaf Dziedziak sent off a good shot on target. A.C. Norwich's Jesús Lastras got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agamenón Naranjo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Teodor Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Cao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vistruario Treviño in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Agamenón Naranjo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperial TGN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agamenón Naranjo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Imperial TGN were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eloy Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agamenón Naranjo in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Teodor Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Abril could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Eloy Salgado made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, A.C. Norwich's goalkeeper Eloy Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Abril. Eulalio Abril fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Salgado having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Teofil Zdrojowy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Geremia Galdamez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo De Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Eloy Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, A.C. Norwich's goalkeeper Eloy Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Abril. The crowd rose to their feet as Agamenón Naranjo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eloy Salgado. That made the score 0-3 in the 83 minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Imperial TGN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Flores to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Dziedziak in the 88th minute of play forced Imperial TGN's goalkeeper Jerrold Cao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to A.C. Norwich getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Fabián Izaguirre hit a great ball. Eloy Salgado made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eulalio Abril sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Imperial TGN walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
