The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ponciano Taules was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Zapico in the 87th minute of play forced Central Argentino R.C.'s goalkeeper Melkor Dorado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erlantz Baeza might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antxoka Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erlantz Baeza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Javier Zapico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
