Vermudo De Pablo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Central Argentino R.C. reached it. Getxo FC's Lluc Quintas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romano Navas in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quilo Guerrero was the one to do the kick off. Lluc Quintas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pericles Balcells in the 62nd minute. If Valerio Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valerio Echavarri kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lluc Quintas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlantz Baeza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quilo Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lluc Quintas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romano Navas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Lluc Quintas made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Central Argentino R.C.'s Pau Andres got a free kick in the 85th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Getxo FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Central Argentino R.C. for much of the match.
