The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ludvig Skålberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guifre Olmos in the 5th minute. Mohorte SAD's Eneko Guasch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antimo Sobrado in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Mohorte SAD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Batista Saez hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Batista Saez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mohorte SAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Club Celta de Vigo the free kick. Santi Ponce De Leon, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A hard shot 18 in the game by Guifre Olmos from a close distance when the talented Ludvig Skålberg managed to make a qualified save. Real Club Celta de Vigo's players were relieved. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Antimo Sobrado got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Clemencin Ballesteros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eneko Guasch was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute of the match Laurgain Carballeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eneko Guasch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Clemencin Ballesteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antimo Sobrado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohorte SAD's Eneko Guasch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemencin Ballesteros in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Clemencin Ballesteros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eneko Guasch. Mohorte SAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemencin Ballesteros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eneko Guasch came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Clemencin Ballesteros. But to his dismay, Clemencin Ballesteros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Batista Saez was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Batista Saez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Eneko Guasch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemencin Ballesteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guifre Olmos made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Mohorte SAD got a freekick which was hit by Baldemar Planes. After a rather tough play, Mohorte SAD's Quilino Gimenez got a free kick in the 59th minute. A long shot from Santi Ponce De Leon in the 60th minute of play was well struck, but Eneko Guasch made a really good save at the right post. With his leg Eneko Guasch managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Real Club Celta de Vigo's Antimo Sobrado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Macerio Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Mohorte SAD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clemencin Ballesteros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Clemencin Ballesteros came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Real Club Celta de Vigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemencin Ballesteros couldn't finish the play. Gero Ortiz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ximun Solo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Mohorte SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Clemencin Ballesteros came free, but Eneko Guasch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mohorte SAD's zone, Clemencin Ballesteros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eneko Guasch came out of the goal and Clemencin Ballesteros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Mohorte SAD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Club Celta de Vigo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
