Benvide Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Milan. Xesc Saboya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorien Raya went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Paquito Zafrilla hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Nando Riells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yosua Mendez during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vega Escobosa's Lorien Raya got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Anacleto Castaño fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan's protests and gave Anacleto Castaño a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vega Escobosa booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Castaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorien Raya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Nando Riells recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benvide Alonso. Nando Riells showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Lorien Raya, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Xesc Saboya was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vega Escobosa fans cheered their team off the field, for while AC Milan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
