In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cantillana UD's goalkeeper Etxatxu Casillas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Molina in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Etxatxu Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Zuriko Doblas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lleir Cacheres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastiano Herrera having to make a save. Remigio De Pedro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Cantillana UD's Mel Tarin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastiano Herrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cantillana UD reached it. After a rather tough play, Cantillana UD's Egoitz Zurica got a free kick in the 40th minute. Xanti Ponte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Etxatxu Casillas. Cantillana UD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuriko Doblas in the 46th minute of play forced Piscina de Hígados FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Navarro to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Molina got free with Etxatxu Casillas in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zuriko Doblas might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastiano Herrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zuriko Doblas ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastiano Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuriko Doblas in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zuriko Doblas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastiano Herrera was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Zuriko Doblas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastiano Herrera. In the 97th minute Zuriko Doblas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastiano Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cantillana UD had played much better football throughout.
