But to his dismay, Adalberto Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Adalberto Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aparicio Sánchez. A Graña FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalberto Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 22nd minute Albi Pedraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guter Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ekhi Villanueva fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puente Tabla AFC's protests and gave Ekhi Villanueva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Puente Tabla AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ekhi Villanueva hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Iosu Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aparicio Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, A Graña FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Romero came free, but Aparicio Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amato Valcarcel charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amato Valcarcel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Puente Tabla AFC booed when A Graña FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amato Valcarcel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes Puente Tabla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cordera Paredes. 39 minutes into the match, Puente Tabla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Albi Pedraza came free, but Guter Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albi Pedraza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guter Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Guter Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leizarraga Titos in the 42nd minute. Crispo Dean hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Leizarraga Titos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guter Veloso having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Puente Tabla AFC's Iosu Cano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aparicio Sánchez. Aparicio Sánchez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Adalberto Romero in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aparicio Sánchez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 61 minutes into the game, Puente Tabla AFC's Adalberto Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aparicio Sánchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Guter Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albi Pedraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Albi Pedraza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A Graña FC and the Puente Tabla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, A Graña FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albi Pedraza to maneuver through the defense. Puente Tabla AFC's Guter Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leizarraga Titos in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Puente Tabla AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cordera Paredes hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, A Graña FC's goalkeeper Aparicio Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Etxatxu Lacorte. Adalberto Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aparicio Sánchez having to interfere. With his leg Aparicio Sánchez managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Puente Tabla AFC's Adalberto Romero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Puente Tabla AFC's Guter Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albi Pedraza in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Puente Tabla AFC's Oriol Herrera got a free kick in the 89th minute. Guter Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leizarraga Titos in the 96th minute of the match. Puente Tabla AFC played a much better game than A Graña FC and deserved their victory. The A Graña FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
