No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bastia Roman to make the kick off. Cheche Urruti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Bastia Roman came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ecija CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bastia Roman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cabañaquinta's zone, Bastia Roman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rio Dagora came out of the goal and Bastia Roman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bastia Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastia Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Dagora having to interfere. Rio Dagora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastia Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milian Valerón in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecija CF's goalkeeper Celso Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Bastia Roman sped through Cabañaquinta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rio Dagora. Bastia Roman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rio Dagora having to make a save.
