After a rather tough play, PonteOurense's Leizarraga Turienzo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Leocadio Paz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenz Sarro's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Antonio Labate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leizarraga Turienzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Les Serres SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xicu Revuelta to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Luis-Miguel Arratia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Serres SAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 23 minutes, Reinaldo Revuelta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PonteOurense and the Les Serres SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reinaldo Revuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Les Serres SAD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lorenz Sarro hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Les Serres SAD got a freekick which was hit by Victor Peña. PonteOurense's Leizarraga Turienzo managed to work through Les Serres SAD's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leizarraga Turienzo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Luis-Miguel Arratia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Antonio Labate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evarado Ocaña in the 32nd minute of play. Antonio Labate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ansuro Bellido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Labate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leizarraga Turienzo in the 36th minute of the match. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The tension between the PonteOurense and the Les Serres SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PonteOurense! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenz Sarro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leocadio Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leocadio Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis-Miguel Arratia in the 67th minute of play. Luis-Miguel Arratia scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leocadio Paz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, PonteOurense's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz Sarro came free, but Leocadio Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luis-Miguel Arratia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leocadio Paz was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
