Patos booed when Castellfollit De Riubregos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtsua Landa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Romualdo Merino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carolo Pedraza was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The Castellfollit De Riubregos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romualdo Merino made a kick off. Aznaro Doblas, 51 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Castellfollit De Riubregos's zone, Emiliano Acarreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Pedraza came out of the goal and Emiliano Acarreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urtsua Landa got free with Vicente Ecija in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Romualdo Merino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carolo Pedraza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aznaro Doblas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vicente Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Ecija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aznaro Doblas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vicente Ecija didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aznaro Doblas went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. U.D. Patos's Vicente Ecija proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save U.D. Patos from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes, Aznaro Doblas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castellfollit De Riubregos and the U.D. Patos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castellfollit De Riubregos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aznaro Doblas hit a great ball. Vicente Ecija didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Castellfollit De Riubregos's Urtsua Landa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 90th minute, Urtsua Landa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Castellfollit De Riubregos's Urtsua Landa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vicente Ecija. That made the score 1-4 after 94 minutes of play. The U.D. Patos manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Castellfollit De Riubregos to win.
