Ponc Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelayo Romero having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Avalanch's goal looked a bit too open when José Obis came free, but Pelayo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anton Munoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toni Roig was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Valles del Esla F.C.'s goalkeeper Toni Roig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pacho Laredo. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avalanch's goalkeeper Pelayo Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Valles del Esla F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herodes Jauregui fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Avalanch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pelayo Romero should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herodes Jauregui to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avalanch's goalkeeper Pelayo Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Valles del Esla F.C.'s José Obis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelayo Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toni Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herodes Jauregui's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Valles del Esla F.C.'s zone, Herodes Jauregui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toni Roig came out of the goal and Herodes Jauregui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Obis got free with Pelayo Romero in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes in the game, Xantalen Palacios fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pelayo Romero having to interfere. Pelayo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ponc Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Avalanch fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Herodes Jauregui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Toni Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pelayo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ponc Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. José Obis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Pelayo Romero made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herodes Jauregui in the 95th minute of play forced Valles del Esla F.C.'s goalkeeper Toni Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ponc Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ponc Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pelayo Romero having to make a save. The Avalanch fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valles del Esla F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
