After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rosendo Valcarcel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Valcarcel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Playo Ruiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee gave Zeledon Menendez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th match minute, Raval Manresa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Menendez to maneuver through the defense.
