After 17 played minutes CD Guadalajara got a freekick which was hit by Juanito Valines. Nicasio Rienda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Juanito Valines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Bajo was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Cai Morcego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Murcia having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venceslás Azofra got free with Honorato Murcia in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
