Vecchia Signora FC's Urtun Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tirso Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtun Martin in the 5th minute of the match. Gelu Danciu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Olo Tormes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatolio Castelao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho Morales received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olo Tormes came out and tried to block the shot, but Nacho Morales slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Urtun Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vecchia Signora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urtun Martin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tirso Rey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Urtun Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urtun Martin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tirso Rey saved Sondika FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Sondika FC's zone, Tome Quijana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tirso Rey came out of the goal and Tome Quijana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sondika FC's Nacho Morales in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vecchia Signora FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th match minute, Vecchia Signora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Danciu to maneuver through the defense. Aris Milonas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Nacho Morales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olo Tormes. Vecchia Signora FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nacho Morales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Vecchia Signora FC's Olo Tormes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Morales in the 35th minute of play. Sondika FC's Tirso Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtun Martin in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Sondika FC's Anatolio Castelao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 47 played minutes Sondika FC got a freekick which was hit by Anatolio Castelao. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nacho Morales made a kick off. Olo Tormes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Sondika FC's Nacho Morales in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vecchia Signora FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Urtun Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vecchia Signora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urtun Martin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yosua Espinosa's late challenge caught a Vecchia Signora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yosua Espinosa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sondika FC's Yosua Espinosa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Urtun Martin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olo Tormes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatolio Castelao, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute Urtun Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tirso Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urtun Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Paz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Paz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Sondika FC got a freekick which was hit by Anatolio Castelao. The Sondika FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
