In the 42nd match minute, Sondika FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josias Griego to maneuver through the defense. Olo Tormes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nacho Morales went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sondika FC's Anatolio Castelao got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urtun Martin to make the kick off. The Sondika FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tirso Rey should have stopped the shot. Chants of Sondika FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Vecchia Signora FC had held the ball for most of the match.
