Feliz Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Loreto Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastián Tobias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loreto Durango in the 14th minute. Pirro Casta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier De Pablo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, La Canya FC's Galindo Vagrande ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastián Tobias. Sebastián Tobias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Lasalle FC's Agusti Jofre got a free kick in the 26th minute. Loreto Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Javier De Pablo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pirro Casta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier De Pablo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernat Ponte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pirro Casta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Canya FC's zone, Bernat Ponte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pirro Casta came out of the goal and Bernat Ponte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier De Pablo to make the kick off. Bernat Ponte in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pirro Casta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sinforiano Manzano's late challenge caught a La Canya FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sinforiano Manzano helped the player get up and apologised. Sinforiano Manzano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Loreto Durango blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Tobias having to make a save. Angelines Quintana hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Bernat Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Javier De Pablo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lasalle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier De Pablo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ronaldo Ricoy fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Canya FC's protests and gave Ronaldo Ricoy a yellow card for diving instead. When Bernat Ponte came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Lasalle FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernat Ponte couldn't finish the play. Bernat Ponte took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pirro Casta. Pirro Casta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sinforiano Manzano in the 88th minute of play forced La Canya FC's goalkeeper Pirro Casta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 89th minute, but Pirro Casta got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving La Canya FC hanging dry this time. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lasalle FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
