La Canya FC's Pirro Casta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yvon Duran in the 7th minute of play. Dario Valerón was a little too slow when Ronaldo Ricoy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Loreto Durango could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dario Valerón made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rufino Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pirro Casta was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Colonia Jardin C.F's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Ronaldo Ricoy scored to the left of an out of position Dario Valerón, making the score, 2-0. After 28 minutes of play, Colonia Jardin C.F's Rufino Torres made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pirro Casta was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pepe Sánchez in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pirro Casta saved La Canya FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Colonia Jardin C.F's Dario Valerón got control of the ball when Galindo Vagrande tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Yvon Duran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Canya FC's Pirro Casta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rufino Torres fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colonia Jardin C.F's protests and gave Rufino Torres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Rufino Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Yvon Duran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sindo Pascual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pirro Casta having to interfere. Rufino Torres struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Pirro Casta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonia Jardin C.F. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Ricoy was the one to do the kick off. 2-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Rufino Torres elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 67th minute Rufino Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pirro Casta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La Canya FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Galindo Vagrande hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Rufino Torres made a precise shot to the right of Pirro Casta. La Canya FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Diagur Munoz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Sindo Pascual received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pirro Casta came out and tried to block the shot, but Sindo Pascual slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute, Colonia Jardin C.F's Rufino Torres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Pepe Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pirro Casta having to interfere. If Rufino Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
