Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alberto Acosta made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Samuel Mora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eristain CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, CD Migjorn's goal looked a bit too open when Cedro Barrientos came free, but Fe Cartagena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Acosta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Bencoiechea came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Acosta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. In the 23rd minute Firmo Jurado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fe Cartagena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romo Pastor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CD Migjorn's Fe Cartagena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Mora in the 35th minute of play. Alvaro Odriozola's late challenge caught a Eristain CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Odriozola helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Migjorn! Idacio Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Bencoiechea having to interfere. If Alberto Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Samuel Mora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fe Cartagena. CD Migjorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Mora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After the first half Eristain CF were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fe Cartagena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Mora in the 53rd minute. Idacio Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mariano Bencoiechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Eristain CF's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Acosta came free, but Mariano Bencoiechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Firmo Jurado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fe Cartagena, 1-5. Firmo Jurado hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes of play, CD Migjorn's Alberto Acosta made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Bencoiechea was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Romo Pastor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fe Cartagena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Mora in the 86th minute. Firmo Jurado was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Eristain CF's Firmo Jurado got a free kick in the 88th minute. Phillip Salvia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mariano Bencoiechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fe Cartagena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedro Barrientos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Eristain CF's zone, Idacio Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Bencoiechea came out of the goal and Idacio Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
